This Privacy Policy explains how the app “Quiet Drink Order” (“the App”) handles information when you use it. We built the App to work entirely on your device, with no server, no account, and no data collection by us.

The App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs integrated into the App. All information you enter stays exclusively on your own device.
The App uses a local, on-device database (Hive) to store the following information, entered by you:
All of this data is stored only locally on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed along with it. You can also clear your order history at any time from within the App.
We do not process any special categories of data (e.g., health, location, or biometric data), and the App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
The released version of the App does not request the Internet permission or any other sensitive device permission. The App uses your screen’s wake-lock feature only to keep the display on while you show your order to bar staff; this does not involve any data collection.
Because all processing happens exclusively on your device for the purpose of providing the App’s core functionality to you, this processing is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us for use of the App (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). No consent is required, and no data is disclosed to us or third parties.
Even though we do not hold any of your data on our servers, you may still contact us at bootandrun@gmail.com if you have questions about this policy or about how the App handles information on your device. You always retain full control over your locally stored data: you can view, edit, or delete it at any time within the App, or remove all of it by uninstalling the App.
The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children, since no data leaves your device.
If a future version of the App introduces optional cloud features (e.g., account login or sharing a round with others), this Privacy Policy will be updated beforehand to describe what data would be involved, why, and how it would be protected, and such features will be clearly optional.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App’s functionality changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
